Pierson’s - Our History
Pierson’s was founded by Tom and Lorraine Pierson in their
backyard as a plumbing company in 1951. They had
$20,000.00 in sales in their first year of business.
Their son, Doug, joined the company in 1967
and started the septic cleaning and portable
toilet rentals division of the company. In
1977, a home building division was started
and over 800 homes were constructed.
Then, in 1979, the HVAC department was
added with Doug at the helm of its
In 1981, Doug was made President and he immediately began
to expand the company with nine acquisitions in three states.
He sold off the home and HVAC divisions in order to build and
focus entirely on the portable restroom business.
Today, Doug Pierson and his staff continue to strive to exceed
customer expectations in their service to them.
